This no bake strawberry fruit cake dessert has all the flavors in it just arranged in a different way. Angel food cake or angel cake is a type of sponge cake made with egg whites, flour and sugar. But if you cannot find it you may easily replace it with simple sponge cake as I did in this recipe for your ease. I love this quick easy and refreshing strawberry food cake dessert and I hope you will love it as well. No mater at what occasion you make it for, its always a crowd pleaser.

  1. Chop the strawberries roughly and keep aside.

  2. Pour the instant jelly packets in a mixing bowl, add boiling water in it and quickly mix well as the jelly will start to thick.

  3. Add the lemon juice and mix well.

  4. Add chopped strawberries in this jelly mixture and combine well.

  5. Let the jelly mixture cool down so keep it aside.

  6. In a mixing bowl beat the whipping cream till the stiff peaks forms.

  7. Take out almost 1 cup of whipped cream and reserve it for later use.

  8. Take out almost 1/2 cup of strawberry jelly mixture and also reserve it for later use.

  9. Now in the remaining whipped cream add this jelly mixture, combine well with the help of spatula. (if you want to use it later keep it in the fridge so it may remain set).

  11. Crumble the sponge cake with your hand and add it in the base of your serving dish.

  12. Pour the strawberry syrup over it.

  13. Then spread the prepared strawberry cream evenly.

  14. Repeat the same process with the second layer.

  15. Smooth the top layer of the strawberry cream with a pallet knife or back of spoon.

  16. Garnish the top with reserved whipped cream and strawberry jelly mixture as per your choice.

  17. Refrigerate the cake to completely chill before serving.

  18. Strawberry angel food cake dessert is ready to enjoy.
