Trifle is a delectable creamy delight prepared with a thick cream of custard, added with sponge cake or fruit cake in some variants and then assorted with fruits.   1. As per the instructions on the packet prepare the jellies and let them cool. when came into proper shape cut them in cubes.
  2. Dissolve custard in milk first.
  3. Now take a pan and take 1.5 liter milk and let it boil.
  4. Add sugar in it and let the sugar dissolve.
  5. Now slowly add custard powder milk in the mixture and whisk it continuously so that lumps should not be made.
  6. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes and whisk continuously so that custard mixture should be thickened a bit. Remember do not thick the custard to much it should be of runny consistency.
  7. Take away from stove and let it cool
  8. Now in serving bowl add first layer of fruit cake and put about 2 tbsp of cocktail syrup on it so that cake become juicy.
  9. Then add a good layer of custard.
  10. Add fruit cocktail over custard and then add jelly and sprinkle some almonds.
  11. repeat the process of layering and make 2-3 layers at least.
